For Profit Marketplace is an online shopping platform built to support Black-owned product businesses and make it easy for customers to shop with purpose.

Launching in August 2025, our marketplace connects everyday shoppers to high-quality Black-owned brands, offering everything from skincare and clothing to home goods and candles. Every purchase helps build a stronger, more self-sustaining economy in our communities.

We exist because the average dollar only stays in the Black community for about 6 hours. That means most of our money leaves before it has a chance to create jobs, fund businesses, or build generational wealth. For Profit Marketplace is here to change that.

We provide a space where customers can buy intentionally and vendors can grow without barriers. Our mission is to close the gap between great products and the people ready to support them. We are rooted in Detroit and ready to grow city by city. Circulating dollars, telling our stories, and building economic power from the ground up.
